Beth Johanson is originally from Connecticut, moved to the Charlotte area in 2015, and just recently relocated to the coast. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders and Psychology from the University of New Hampshire and went on to receive her Master of Science degree from Teachers College, Columbia University. She has been an SLP for over 30 years and has worked with infants through geriatrics in outpatient rehabilitation, schools, acute care, and skilled nursing. Although her primary focus has been pediatrics, she enjoys working with all ages. Working to maximize skills to reach an individual’s greatest potential is her goal for every client.
In her free time, she loves being with her family and friends and has three daughters. Her favorite things to do are reading, decorating, scrapbooking, and exploring new places. She loves taking walks on the beach or spending a few hours relaxing at the seaside with a good book and a tall iced coffee.
